#13 - Unlucky Starter

Giving Steve & Bryan their Pokemon on strip #13 bodes rather ill, in my book.

You know, one of the things that really irks me is being interrupted. It happens to me all the time, mostly from my parents, so I get a little angry when I'm trying to make a point and people talk over me. Probably some of that residual shyness from my younger days rearing its head.

Now, the comic. It's taken 13 strips, but we've finally got our starter Pokemon - me with a Ralts, and Bryan with a Tyrouge. Originally I was going to give him a Trapinch (because Bryan's a freakin' obsessive, and would train it to Flygon evolution before we hit Slateport) so I could make a Flygon joke. Because Flygon freakin' pwn everything. At least the ones the Elite Four dude had did.
