Author notes
Man, how shifty does the last panel sound? Really, we're just trying to avoid Brendan's sibling wrath. Through the short course of making this strip, I've realised that above all others, my work has been inspired by the comic Captain SNES. Alex, depsite all adversity that he has faced from himself, his enemies, and his nemesis Ryan, he has still stayed strong and kept his cunning. In a way, I hope to make a character that can have that level of spirit and strength. Hell, I hope I can be that strong myself. One thing you can really tell about Captain SNES is the sheer effort that is put into it. The art, as it is, is terrific, but the story's level of complexity and emotion is something else entirely - you can really tell that JD puts his all into it. And now, to the comic. Sorry, no April Fools strip - not in TI, anyway. By the time April Fools actually arrives, I amy have done a holiday Spritely about it. It looks like both May and Brendan are joining our travelling troupe. I wonder how that'll turn out - May is innocent and intelligent, Brendan is strong and protective; you can say one thing, someone will probably get hurt. Okay, that's enough from me. Enjoy the comic, and see you again on Tuesday!
