I bet you thought you'd just get a walk-on role or be some random trainer when you signed up, huh Commander? Ah, such an underestimation of my love of character development. You get a story and everything, you lucky dog!

So, yep - the comic. I toldja there'd be an explanation…oh Mr. Briney, you crazy mafioso fool. We all know you love that Peeko just a little too much.
Originally I was going to do panels 4 & 5 as "Bryan asking how Commander got the boat here from Lilycove" and "Commander cracking a whip over a bunch of malnourished Plusle/Minun carrying it", but I realised how much work that would be. Ah well, such is comics.
