Often I find the actual battling is the weakest part of any Pokemon comic, simply because there's not much that can be done with it. You've gotta be very specific when doing the choreography of a Pokemon battle in order to make it interesting enough - even Pokemon X, arguably the best Pokemon comic on the net, has trouble making the battles not, well, dull. I was going to try and get through the whole comic without a single battle, but…screw that idea.

On another note, it's my birthday today - I am now 18! Now to go and legally do everything I've already been doing for about two years…
The only thing I regret is not getting to experience 'awkward teenage sex'. Ah well.
