1-6 - Happy Christmas, and Merry Holidays

Remember when I said on the topic thread for this comic that I wouldn't make a comic for Christmas because of the hiatus? Well, I lied. Sorta. I got the idea for the comic when I saw my newest "haul" on my bed, and I saw the comic's title picture, and I realized, "…I can make something with this." At first it was just a picture, but then my sister said that the first picture can make a good story. So one thing lead to another, and there we go.

Also, this was supposed to be a PSA, but it didn't seem very PSA-y. So it's the 6th comic of the series. Huzzah. I just need to rename the files now. lol

So I took my hand at something else when it comes to art: writing poems. And honestly, this didn't come out too bad. Tweaked it a bit to avoid repeating words, but it worked.

Here's a secret: that 360? Mom gave me and my sister permission to open our gifts from her the morning of Christmas Eve. We had to spend this day preparing, cooking, and getting ready to leave to our family's house in upstate NY. By the time this comic is up, I'll be at their house, getting drunk with my cousins, playing Rock Band 3, and screaming like a little b*tch at the faces of zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops. F*ckin' hell hounds are the worst…but even more when the zombies are RIGHT behind you…

I'd like to take this time to thank everyone during the year 2010, more so on November when this comic was put up, who had helped me reevaluate my life and find my calling. It was actually this comic itself, as well as the inspirations such as The_Emperor and Stain42 that came with it, that helped me decide my major for college when I start school AGAIN next fall. This year was a major drawback, and I wanted to find a fresh start, to find myself and to experience things I haven't yet. Labor, love, and life.

So thank you all for sticking with me since November. Thank you The_Emperor, and come back safely from Hong Kong (I can't wait to read your future comics with your new hauls). Thank you, Strain42, for being a constant inspiration and giving me new ideas and creative ways to deliver jokes. And thank you, everyone, for reading this comic. I hope that these comics have brought a joy to your days and lives when you were down, and made you laugh somehow.

Merry Christmas, everyone. See you all 2011.

Speaking of 2011, with my new 360, I just saved a bunch of money (not on my car insurance, I don't have a car)! Almost around $200, and it doubled on Christmas Eve. So I have MORE than enough to add the new members of the cast.

First up are the Robot Damashii (Spirits) line of figures from Bandai, featuring the mute Gundams from Gundam 00 Season 2: Gundam 00, Gundam Cherudim, Gundam Arios, and Gundam Seravee (and Seraphim). Later on in the year, I should've pre-ordered figma Black Gold Saw (from the Black Rock Shooter series) by January. And finally, the BIGGEST dedication I can give to Strain42 so far, figma Aigis from Persona 3. How she will act in the comic is still unknown, but Strain MAY be familiar with it…somehow.

Anywho, there are still surprises in store. What 2011 holds for me, I'm excited to find out!
