Does anyone actually read these comments? Probably not. So I can safely ramble on about nothing at all and no one will bat an eyelid. Weird phrase that, "bat an eyelid". It makes me think of someone being hit in the face by a baseball bat. But then that's just my twisted brain at work. Talking of twisted brains, is Sarah Palin a robot? Is she the head of Skynet? Will the republicans steal the election and replace us all with more efficient electrical products? What's more efficient than a toaster? How about a toaster/coffee-maker/hair-dryer combo, which would use only slightly more energy than a regular toaster and take up less space than three separate products. This may be what we'll be turned into. It would certainly help save the world's population problem anyway. People could be stacked up on shelves like baked beans are stacked in Lidl, the discount German supermarket which is flourishing in the UK. The full name of the company is Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG. I got that from Wikipedia. Here's some more info, if you're interested: Lidl is not an abbreviation, but the last name of Ludwig Lidl, a retired teacher. In 1930, Josef Schwarz became a partner in Sudfruchte Grosshandel Lidl & Co., a fruit wholesaler, and he developed the company into a general food wholesaler. In 1977, under his son Dieter Schwarz, Lidl&Schwarz began to focus on discount markets, larger supermarkets, and cash and carry wholesale markets. The first Lidl discount store was opened in 1973, copying the Aldi concept. In 1977, the Lidl chain comprised 30 discount stores. Dieter Schwarz's problem was that he could not just start using the Lidl name. As Schwarz Markt (literally Black Market) did not seem a good idea, he bought the right to use the Lidl name from Ludwig for 1000 Deutsche Mark. And if anyone's still reading this, then you have way too much free time.
