Listen, is the 1945 Tom and Jerry Cartoon Short, Flirty Birdy, Tom disguises himself as an attractive eagle to seduce an Eagle who steals Jerry from him and at the end, the Eagle falls in love with him and he's shown sitting on a clutch of eggs. The rule of cartoon comedy is Occam's Wabbit, okay. The funniest explanation is probably true, that a cat inexplicably laid eggs. But, nerds are so defensive of a cartoon cat's heterosexuality that they've invented a long inelegant story about the Eagle being a widower or something. So, I just wanna say, yes. Chase the Cheetah absolutely laid an egg for no scientific reason.
