008 - Jugurtha

Okay, so that's the last animation I did for the series. I didn't have anything else that I thought was both interesting and easy to do. I think someone suggested a zero-g "money shot"… which would probably be tricky to animate, but I might try that at some point later on.
 
In the meantime, I continue burning through dull plot setup stuff. There are only two more pages left of this "prologue" section, and then the comic will backtrack to explain how they ended up on this reckless (and possibly doomed) mission. All coming soon. There probably won't be too many more two-per-week updates for a while though, as I don't want to outpace my buffer.
 
###TECHNICAL NOTES###
 
We've never had a very good look at a Transneptunian object before, so my design for Jugurtha is somewhat speculative. Mostly, it's based on Saturn's moon Phoebe, which is believed to be a TNO that wandered into the inner system and got snatched up by Saturn's gravity.
