Poor guy never saw it coming.
 
I'm really trying to get back into the habit of doing animations and science extras and stuff here in the author's notes, but the universe keeps conspiring against me. The latest Windows update more or less completely knocked my 3D software out of commission. It took me a couple of days to fix the problem (I had to do a system recovery, and then manually install the updates with my antivirus turned off), and I'm still not 100 percent sure that I'm out of the woods on that one yet. So long story short, it has not been a productive week for me! So, no extras today. I got nuthin'!
 
It seems turnout so far has been unexpectedly low for the Drunk Duck Awards voting, so if you get a chance, click on the banner below and go vote for your favorite comics. Remember, you don't have to fill out the entire ballot, but also don't just fill out the whole thing with the same one comic in every category. That always looks fishy.
