I'll try to make a habit of ending each chapter with a Chapter Recap. That way, new readers won't feel lost. Chapter 1 was mostly setting up things which happen in the later chapters, so not too much really happened. So now is a pretty good spot to jump in.
 
This story is structured as a four-chapter series. It's part of a larger story, of course, and one I hope to finish in its entirety sometime. But for now, I'm mainly focusing on the current four-chapter arc. Chapter 2 has a bit more action and danger than Chapter 2, and some major plot elements are revealed. I plan to start posting the new pages sometime in February, as I've been working on getting the buffer back up (it's pretty sizeable at this point already).
