On behalf of Drunk Duck, I apologize profusely for this page. I know it's very dull reading, but it's setting something up. You'll see on the next page why I'm dramatizing a conversation about metabiotics and bioware. Neither of which are real things, by the way. I actually had to rewrite this page several times to have as little technobabble as possible.

This is one of my sneaky weekend updates. As is my M.O., I tend to dump bad or not-so-interesting pages over the weekend, when not so many people are online to see them. The next page should be less painful than this one, I promise!

Oh, and you're probably wondering who what where is this “Chariklo” place that Nina is talking about. Well, I'm glad you asked (or somewhat concerned if you didn't ask). 10199 Chariklo is a minor planet in our solar system, one of a special class of objects known as “centaurs.” The centaurs are roaming planetoids that pepper the region of space occupied by the giant outer planets. There are tens of thousands of them. Chariklo, with an estimated diameter of 250 kilometers, is the largest known centaur. It also has the distinction of being the smallest object in the solar system known to have rings. Chariklo has at least two rings, likely made up of water ice particles. Chariklo's distinction may be short-lived however, as it appears the slightly smaller centaur Chiron may also have a ring system, but they haven't absolutely confirmed it yet. This is the stuff astronomers work on when they're bored.



In other news, I got an email earlier this week from Akujofan, letting me know that he added several characters from Death P#rn to the Evil Babes Wiki, which I thought was pretty neat. The wiki entries are pretty decent, actually; they even have cross-references and in one case even chronicle back to one of my earlier comics, Sex and Candy. That was a nice trip down Memory Lane.
