110 - The Squeeze

It feels like more than a week since the last time I uploaded a comic. It's weird only doing one weekly update. It'll probably be two updates this week. Maybe. Not sure.

The good news is that I'm finally finished with my Drunk Duck Awards presentation comic – which took much longer than I expected it to, thanks in large part to an epic case of writer's block. Just a warning ahead of time: this could be my worst award presentation to date… though in fairness, last year's wasn't exactly a tour de force either! So you have that to look forward to in another month or so.

I also haven't made any new pages for this comic in I think two weeks or so, which is not good for my page buffer. I should be getting back on track though, now that my plate's been cleared.



It's not super bad or inaccurate, but this sequence is a little bit dodgy. Since Jetta weighs less than a dumbbell in Triton's low gravity, it's not likely she'd be able to pin Ozzy down by sitting on him. But still, whether he's standing up or sitting down or bouncing around the room, he's not going to be able to pry himself out of her death grip, so fundamentally the scene still works. I prefer to think maybe he's just conflicted as to whether he really wants to get his face out of there or not!
