138 - Golden Bear

“Golden bear.” That sounds like it could be very refreshing… or extremely disgusting. Mostly depending on why they call it “golden,” I would think. Though the “bear” part may not be too appetizing either.

I hope the fourth panel wasn't too super confusing. They're supposed to be communicating through some kind of Skype virtual interface something or other. It's a lot easier to pick up on in panel five.

For anyone who's new or new-ish to the comic, or if your memory isn't super long, Manu is Jetta's somewhat naive apprentice/lover who's been left to his own devices while Jetta was busy doing Rana's dirty work. At the end of Chapter 1, he was abducted by mysterious denizens Abby and Delilah, who whisked him away to one of Triton's lawless Vol sectors for God-knows-what purposes. We'll be coming back to them in the upcoming chapter.

That'll be all for now, folks. Sorry, no blurbs or animations today. I'm busy finishing up the last pages of this chapter, and apparently the Science Police are forcing me to redo the last page or else they'll revoke my science license… which I guess is not a good thing. So I'd better get on that.
