142 - Leaving So Soon?

Sorry, I know this page isn't just blow-your-pants-off thrilling… but then you need your pants so I guess that's alright. This may be the only page I'm able to post this week. Progress on the last few pages of the chapter has been slugghish, to say the least. It's been a lot more difficult than I thought it would be to put the scene together and make it flow the way I envisioned it. So, since I'm not adding to the buffer as fast as I should be, I may need to ease up on the updates a bit until I figure out what I'm doing.

There is one fairly egregious error on this page. The big winged thug lady (her name is Celaeno, after one of the Greek harpies) is supposed to be huge – like almost seven feet tall – but in those last two panels I had to reload her into the scene and forgot to scale her up. So she's still a lot bigger than Jetta (who's only about 5 foot 4), but not nearly as big as she's supposed to be. I know what you're thinking… so, Cid, why don't you just redo the panels, or just fix it in Photoshop?! Well, there's a very good reason for that.
