153 - The Interloper

Of course, we end the chapter on a cliffhanger. We'll find out what happens to Jetta (and Manu) in the coming chapter(s), but for now I'll be taking an extended break to recharge my batteries and catch up on some reading and other things I've been neglecting while I labored over this project.



For anyone who may be new to this comic, there will be a Chapter 2 Recap at the beginning of Chapter 3, whenever that comes out. But in the meantime, you'll have plenty of time to get caught up during the hiatus. You should probably start at the Chapter 1 Recap which comes right before the beginning of this chapter. That should get you caught up with everything that happened in Chapter 1. And in this chapter, you can probably skip most of the infamous Brown Couch Scene. Aside from pages 89 through 91, there's not much you truly need to read there. I'm contractually obligated to throw in at least one gratuitous sex scene for each chapter, and that just happened to be the one for Chapter 2.

This comic will go dark for a while, as it did after the end of Chapter 1. I may pop in from time to time to add a pinup or a worldbuilding thing-a-ma-jig, and I'll be working on adding to the comic extras, like adding new links to the Scene Index, character profiles, and even Bonus Material, like some of the cut scenes that never saw the light of day and the failed Cyanide Version. So be sure to Favorite this comic if you haven't already, so you don't miss any updates!

I'm considering some changes to the way I do the comic as well. This was originally going to be a four chapter story, but I may end up breaking the remaining two long chapters into three or four shorter chapters. I think doing shorter chapters could do much to improve both my slow pacing and overall quality.
