biofeed: A person's biofeed displays their health status: pulse, breathing rate, neural activity, etc. It's standard practice for security personnel to have globally accessible biofeeds, so if something happens to a security officer, the others know about it immediately.



You may recall on the second page of this chapter, we saw some glimpses of blue-and-white suited security guards being ripped to pieces by our mooner baddies. Well, now we're getting some context on that. These next few pages should fill in a lot of blanks and we'll finally get to know who they are, and what they're up to.



The upcoming pages aren't all super thrilling, so I plan on boosting the updates to three per week, as I always try to do when the comic hits a slow spot. They're not “bad” pages, but there's not much to chew on either. But they're leading up to a Big Action Sequence, so try not to completely fall asleep! It's also worth mentioning that I've been a bit lax lately on making new pages, so my buffer is not in the best of shape at the moment. There aren't too many pages left before the end of the chapter, but with me upping the update schedule, it is remotely possible that I may end up outstripping my buffer at some point. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there!

I should also warn that the next page does contain some gore.



NOTES

The screenshots in the third panel actually predate this comic. These were early “test” renders I made trying to create my own [url=http://wikipedia.org/wiki/O'Neill_cylinder]O'Neill cylinder and see how the perspective shots worked with a horizon that curves upward instead of downward. The renders were never quite good enough for me to use as actual comic panels, so I recycled them here as sort of background props.
