So the tables have turned yet again. Hopefully Captain Savage can think of something quick, because she only has one page left to finish this scuffle. You'll have to tune in next time to catch the harrowing conclusion of this death duel.

As you probably know, I work well ahead of where this comic is currently updating in order to maintain my page buffer. I'm gradually closing in on the final sequence of this chapter. I may (or may not) decide to increase the frequency of updates when I get a bit closer to finishing this monstrosity, but I haven't made my mind up yet. I know some people would prefer faster updates, but I also know that I personally have a hard time keeping up with comics that update too frequently. Anyway, that's at least a month away before that might kick in, so I'll have plenty of time to think about it.



Also, I just want to thank all those of you who voted for the Drunk Duck Awards, even those of you who didn't vote for this comic specifically. As for those of you who didn't vote… you're dead to me. It's your participation that makes the awards possible. And speaking of participation… they're looking for people to help with presentations and judging for the awards show, so if you're interested, send Niccea a PQ or sign up at the Judges' Forum. I'm not gonna lie to you: It's grueling, dangerous, thankless work. You may lose a limb. You may lose your soul. But in the end, it will be worth it, because when it's all over you can look at that awesome awards show and say, “I helped build that!” And with that kind of towering achievement, who needs legs!

Woody is the wise-cracking puppet master, a crafty dwarf who specializes in brain hijacking. In the mooner attack on Nova Dagon, Woody put her special skills to use by hijacking the body of a security guard in order to infiltrate the Docking Authority's main control room. Aside from being a dangerous fanatic, not much is known about Woody's background or personal motives for being involved in the attack. She may simply be deranged.
