241 - Debriefing

If you're a new (or new-ish) reader, the Chapter Recap should mostly get you up to speed as to what's going on. I think there's enough expositional dialogue on this page to mostly piece it together though.

I'm still struggling with my monitor right now. I noticed going back that many pages look a lot darker than I remember them being, and I even re-uploaded brighter versions for some of them. I also brightened this page a good bit from its original version. But I'm starting to think the issue is that my monitor is too dim after I updated my video card. I'm noticing things that should be solid white are showing up dim silver-gray, which probably means I need to adjust my monitor. If this page looks too bright, please let me know! I'm flying blind right now!

Also, the nominees were announced yesterday for the Drunk Duck Awards. It looks like I managed to nab the major nominations I was aiming for, plus a few others, so HUGE thanks to everyone who voted! I owe you all a… um… something. I dunno… a big hug? That doesn't work over the internet. You all get an imaginary hug… and an imaginary strawberry shortcake Good Humor® bar. Because you're the best! Be sure to tune in for the Drunk Duck Awards when the ceremony starts, on October 8th (assuming it's on time this year). Some of the competition for these categories is pretty fierce, so I'm not counting on actually winning much of anything – especially if I can't fix my monitor settings and get the artwork presentable – but at least it's an honor to be nominated.
