That's probably not what you expected to happen!

Actually, it's not what I expected to happen either when I first started writing this chapter, but several re-writes later, this is what we end up with. My bad on that second-to-last panel; I know it's not crystal clear what's happening there. That's supposed to show the hijacked guard committing suicide by putting the barrel of his own gun into his mouth and pulling the trigger. The blast blows his eyeballs out and the bullet is stopped by the inside of his helmet, creating a noticeable dent. It's hard to see because I over-did some of the effects and under-did others. I have mixed opinions about this page overall, but the upcoming pages all turned out pretty well in my opinion, so stay tuned for those!
