So that happened. You knew I could only go so many pages without someone getting killed by a robot snake monster. Now all is right with the universe.

That is the one downside of using overpowered murderbots for extra muscle: What happens if they turn on you?! I'm sure there's a Twilight Zone episode about something like that.





Trying to mentally visualize some of the more mind-bending forms of non-Euclidean geometry can be next to impossible. So I thought it was pretty cool that this guy created a game engine which simulates some pretty freaky concepts: spaces that are much larger on the inside than they are on the outside, tunnels that lead downward but exit at a higher elevation than where you started, that sort of thing. Stuff that defies intuition but is still mathematically sound. In fairness, it looks like he used some clever cheats to pull it off, but it's still impressive.
