291 - Jailbreak

I still haven't watched the Game of Thrones finale, so I need to keep my head on a swivel for spoilers. They're lurking around every corner!

It's only now dawning on me that this chapter is close to wrapping up, and I still haven't even started on the next chapter yet. My whole plan was to do shorter chapters, and don't post until the whole chapter is complete, but that's probably not going to work now because I'm so behind. I'll just have to post as I go, with a buffer, like before. The next chapter should be pretty short like this one, though, so it shouldn't be too long of a wait for the new pages either way.

It also doesn't help that I've been meddling with the interactive game again lately. Yeah, I know, I said I was bailing on that project, but I just can't help but be drawn back to it; it's such an interesting medium! I got much further along with it this go-around; I've added a lot more functionality to the player character and put together a basic “home base” type starter level. Right now, I'm building a Training level where you can hone your space pirating skills.











And in case you were wondering, 'Why does Jetta have black hair?' Well, there's no reason, really. It just looked better in my opinion.

Don't expect any major progress with the game project in the near future, though. I'm putting it on a back-burner (for real this time) while I try to get back on track with the next chapter of this comic.
