This update was supposed to go up some time last week, but I got badly sidetracked. Sorry bout dat. There will likely be an extra update at some point this week or next to catch things up.

Hope you're all doing well, and not going stir crazy. I've noticed some people are gaining weight right now, I guess from sitting around and stress/boredom eating all day? That's how the coronavirus gets you: It kills by causing obesity. And obesity is the new smoking… or is that sitting?

Personally, I've been losing weight. I guess it's because I'm not eating out as much as I used to. So does that mean I'm immune? I'm not a doctor.





I may have Nuts and Bolted this before, but it's worth bringing up again. Sometimes, you'll see a character reading a “holographic” display or telecommunicating with the “hologram” of someone who's not really there. These holograms are not true holograms; they're not real images or projections. These images are being created by the viewer's mental software and overlayed over their “real” vision as a form of augmented reality. So if you're having a hologram conference with your friend who's miles away, people walking by wouldn't be able to see or hear who you're talking to, because the images are entirely in your mind. So, if you think those people who walk around talking into their bluetooth thingees are obnoxious, this would be even worse!
