Nothing kills the mood quite like your partner pulling a gun on you. Don't act like it's never happened to you before!

I was going to write a science blurb on smart gun technology, but the more I read about it, it's hard to write about smart guns without delving into the politics of them. I find myself torn, because I do see some potential benefit in the technology, but I can see the dystopian aspects there as well. An interesting topic, but maybe too radioactive. Like, I think it would be cool in case someone stole my gun that I'd have a button I can press that melts it into slag… but I wouldn't trust someone else having a button that melts my gun into slag!
