I am quite enamoured with the top middle panel. Gabriel's hair is a bit too dark to make out against the city, but I still think the shading I did made some especially strong depth.
Something strange about this part is that for a while Gabriel represents a man more than a woman. Which is strange, since I tend to think of Gabriel as more of a woman in my mind. His appearance is even slightly inspired by (other than Robert Smith) a girl that I know. But that doesn't become quite so apparent until later. :/
And of course, traditional story-telling logic says there's no way this is going to end nicely. But I won't spoil everything for you. You'll just have to keep reading, eh?
