The thing about the violin panel was that drew it before I did this actual scene. I can't place exactly what part of the story I was working on, but I knew that when Gabriel came to Pandemonium for the first time Luz would be playing a violin. Because… I felt he had to be occupied with SOMETHING, not just standing around somewhere waiting… So I had plenty of time to think of a piece for him to be playing and I decided on Paul Dukas because he was one of the only composers that I was familiar with that wasn't on the list of Top Ten Classical Musicians that first come to mind of your average person. And like Gabriel points out, the piece is appropriate for Lucifer so I thought it all worked out splendidly until I realized that I knew how to only SAY his name but not how to spell it. So I asked my -not only very musical- but very French friend, and I… ended up sort of embarrassing her because she did not know who Dukas was… DX She knew of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, of course, but not the guy's name. So we went into researching (Thank you, internet) and um, yeah. It's spelled Dukas.
