Yeah, nothing exciting. Just a cover. :(
Scanner still isn't working. grahhhlajlfjdsifsidjf!
I'm probably going to have to convince my parents to buy off e-bay or something. I'm going crazy not being able to go forward with my story. And what's more I did nothing at all to build up a stash for August like I'd wanted.
About the Cover: I'd drawn out this very same picture but I got impatient and I wanted to do something. Even if it was something as trite as a cover page. I tried drawing straight from the computer and quickly got fed up with that. (I don't have a pad. DX It's all mouse.) So instead I googled a few pictures and went through my own stash and decided on a photo of a young Simon Gallup doing his hair. Luckily the only real thing I had to do was color over his tight black pants to give Gabriel some bare legs and then draw over a skirt. It was really awkward drawing a skirt on Simon… :|
Then just tweaking from there. Giving Gabriel a flatter nose and less strong cheek bones, marking around Simon's bare arms to make it look like he was wearing a long-sleeved shirt. (Fortunate enough he was already wearing a black vest.) Adding color. And… Finally making most of my work be in vain by adding blur effects. D:
