The Officer Flynn character has been an on-going villain in the Tag Forester series, mostly as an angry buffoon than any kind of evil genius. He was first seen in my first Tag Forester series, “Tag Forester, Sleazy Dick”.

Another past series was a sort of story of how Tag and Yoss first met, called, “A Weak Sister”. This showed Flynn as a racist rather than just a bad, cheating husband. It also showed how Officer Flynn and Tag have had an on-going conflict.

The Portland police have had problems in the past with racist and violent acts, but many of them have improved their image despite the violence during recent riots.
