043: Fire In The Streets

So, yeah. In case you haven't noticed, I FINALLY GOT PHOTOSHOP ON DA TABLET UP AND RUNNING. Of course, this is only my first page done with it, and I'm still experimenting, but it's still very cool-looking, don't you think? (Or is it too much?) Of course, it took me about the same time to draw this as it did to draw with a regular mouse. But hey, at least there's more control, right? And I'll get way faster and better as I keep practicing.

In other news… my sleeper hit series Mystery Comic Theater 3000 has finally gotten its own website! Go to http://www.drunkduck.com/Mystery_Comic_Theater_3000 and check it out! (Basically its main premise is that Walt, Dexy and Lloyd crack wise on average, hardworking comics that fellow comic artists ask me to ruthlessly lampoon. Go ahead! You can even ask me to mock your own comic!)

And… um… that's about it. I have interims next week, so expect next week's update to be a tad smaller than usual, what with me being rushed and all. Also I have, like, a buttload of homework this weekend. Luckily, I have tomorrow off. (Thanks, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! Not only did you spearhead the African-American civil rights movement, but you gave me an extra day to do math worksheets and stuff!)

Also, that thing that I said would interest webcomic artists last week? TEO's gonna have a guest art contest. A part-of-continuity guest art contest. Also I'm gonna try to link it up to some charity or something. More info during the week, or possibly next week. Anyways, prepare yourselves for battle…

Oh! Almost forgot. The TEO Inquiry of the Week (doot doo doooo!) this week relates to last week's: If there was one thing you could make more complex in your life, what would it be? After all, if it wasn't for chaos, life would be boring.

See you next time, kids! Read TEO!

Sincerely,

Ian Jay
