Hey hey hey, TEO fans! Sorry this week's update is late. For the majority of the weekend my family and I were out in Kingswood, West Virginia (a wonderful little town if you're not a huge fan of, well, any human activity at all) to see a band that my mom likes. Wolf Creek Session is a band native to Kingswood that mixes Appalachian mountain music with traditional Celtic tunes (and believe me, the result is wayyy more kickass than you'd expect). If ever they come to your town, or you're in driving distance of Kingswood like we are, definitely take the time to go see them. Or at the very least buy their CD. (And if anybody knows where Keith's guitar is, let him know, OK?)

This week's page marks TEO's 50th update, and, as a "flashback-retro-stylin'" commemoration of the event, I made sure my color job sucks. Just like the old days! (No, but seriously, I had to do a Midnight Run interior shot, and I had forgotten how saturated with greys the inside was. Crap. Oh well… more pages outside from now on… or at least I need a wider palette of greys…) From here on out, you may notice some slight changes in the substance of TEO. You'll see what I mean. (Still, you might want to read from Page Thirteen for a recap of the issue we're going to dredge back up from the thick, loamy, sweet-smelling strata of the past.) More to come next week…

Also, I'm almost done with the T-shirt. So quit yer whinin'. I'll have a photo up soon.

And for our TEO Inquiry of the Week (doot doo doooooo!): Say you've invented a new color. What does it look like? What will you name it?

Sincerely,

Ian Jay
