Hello again, TEO fans! I'm sorry this page is late, but not that sorry. I had a four-day weekend, but it was filled up with a lot of pressing things I needed to attend to, such as my grandmother's 75th birthday party; my sister's urgent need to purchase three pairs of jeans, a balloon, and a hammer (don't ask); and the new "Unofficial" DD Chat Room, of which I have become a speedy devotee. Add to that the fact that this page was a real pain to color (split storylines are always colored seperately… and whoa, did I go crosshatch-crazy in the last three panels), but I'm pretty satisfied with the result. It moves the story along, anyways.

Not much else going on. Started a new semester in school today, though I have all the same teachers as last semester. I should have a Starving Artists update coming up on the 1st or thereabouts, though as of now I have absolutely no ideas for it whatsoever. (Everything's sort of been drifting apart after the "Aspects" storyline ended. But then, what can you expect?) Also, I should probably remind you guys again about the big TEO Two Years And (almost) One Hundred Pages Super Xtreme Guest Comic Partyganzabration And Easter Egg Rolling Competition. It's coming up in, like, two weeks (or thereabouts), people! Let's get movin' on those submissions!

Also, big shout out to my cousin Christian, who is now in Estonia doing exciting Estonian things, like eating fancy bread, sitting in saunas, and trying not to catch hypothermia. He also gave me a shout-out on his last update. Check out his blog, not just because he's related to me, but because his blog is actually really interesting, a quality the vast majority of blogs in existence today lack.

In conclusion… have you seen that commercial for Outback Steakhouse with all the little ersatz-Aboriginally-drawn dudes talking on cell phones? Remember the song from that? I thought it was just somebody doing a bad Flaming Lips pastiche, but it turns out it's actually a thinly retooled version of the single "Wraith Pinned To The Mist And Other Games" from Elephant 6 alumni Of Montreal (who also happen to have a new album coming out extremely soon). The original video for it, of course, is far better than the commercial.

Sincerely,

Ian Jay
