094: Funeral No. 2

Hey there, TEO fans! This week: Thirteen's still dead, the blind guy escaped justice, and Dexy still hasn't gotten her revenge. So… not really that positive of an update story-wise, but I did actually finish this on Monday, making this the first page in a while that's actually gone up on time. Hooray! (Now I just have to keep doing it… over and over and over again…)

In comic-related news, comics colleague HPK has graciously allowed TEO to host a new forum in his "forumopolis". It's already gotten more business than the SpiderForest TEO forum ever has, so get on down there and check it out while the action's still hot! …Also, in a special bonus gesture of my generosity, I am doing sketches for people. If you join the forum, you can ask me for one (so long as you don't ask me to draw any of your own lame-ass anime characters or whatever).

In non-comic-related news, I got my wisdom teeth pulled out, an experience which you can read more about here. (That's right. I drew this page while still convalescing from surgery. That's how committed I am to TEO.) Since the time of that journal, my teeth have stopped hurting for the most part, though my jaw aches a little. I'm still on penicillin, and I still can't eat really crunchy or tough foods like potato chips or beef jerky (neither of which I particularly like, but still). The best thing to come of this is that I can actually talk normally again– no more biting my tongue or getting my jaw caught in a weird place. It's actually comfortable and easy to talk. Which is cool.

Also, my sister made the school softball team. Way to go, Jilly, even though you don't really read my comic. Now let's see some hustle out there.

Aaaaaand that's about all I can think of for this week. Next week, we'll learn what Lloyd is up to. In conclusion… [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2S6ehGOur4]Aachi & Ssipak". This is the first five minutes of a Korean animated movie that, unlike many Korean movies, I would actually be very eager about seeing myself (provided there would be English subtitles or something). Cartoonishly violent, but very cool. Check it out.

Sincerely,

Ian Jay
