103: Trouble Brewing

…I seem to have a lot of scenes in my comic taking place in bars. Is that bad? Don't drink, kids. It's super bad for you.

This week's page was a real toughie to get out, mostly because of the vast expanses of non-speech-balloon-filled space and all the stupid browns I had to use, but I think it turned out OK. As long as it has a discernible visual impact on the reader, then I'm cool with it. (It does have an impact, right? You do know some crazy stuff's about to go down, right? Right?)

In TEO-related news, did you see this? It's friggin' awesome. Done by the guy what does this. Check his stuff out.

Also, I am posting in the DD forums again, sort of. I'm trying to start posting on the Koala Wallop forums again, too, but everybody's so dang smart there. But hey, if you dig, say, discussions on whether or not cultural relativism is inherently flawed, then check it out. Koala Wallop also puts out some excellent comics, including Rice Boy, which I only discovered two days ago but which I now hold as one of the most interesting comics on the web today. Check it out. Check KW out in general.

In conclusion… the Tale of How. Weird as hell. And this is only one of a trilogy, which is one of an even larger piece, apparently. Can't wait to see what these fellows put out next.
