Hey, guys! Sorry for being so abominably late this week. Other, unexpected yet far more urgent matters required attending to. Sorry. I'll try to have next week's up on time (or early, or whatevs). Initially, this page was coming out fast and awful, but I slowed down and fixed up a few things, and I think it turned out pretty good, actually. Either way, it's moving the story along.

This week was actually pretty interesting, what with the dangerous fireworks and the convicts on the golf course and all. I highly recommend reading my LiveJournal on the topic, since a) it encapsulates everything nicely and b) I don't want to have to type it all out again. Also, I got a Netflix account this week, which is pretty cool. I already watched "Six String Samurai"– a movie I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for great acting or a sturdy plot, but one I would recommend if you're interested in swordfights or '50s rock 'n' roll. Cool movie.

OH! Speaking of cool movies, I also saw Transformers earlier this week. Looking back, the movie is sort of losing its magic on me; I realize that there wasn't nearly enough character development (especially on the part of the robots; I mean, yeah, there they are, but what are they like? How do they think? Do they dream of electric sheep? Etc.) for it to be considered a really great movie. But as far as stupid summer action movies go, it's a rollicking good ride. I'd recommend seeing it in theaters for the full experience; besides, besides probably coming out rather low-def even on an HDTV, the movie on DVD might blow out the bass on your TV speakers. Anyways, though: Neat!

In conclusion… a short film about three teenagers getting lost on a car ride. Notice the fine foxy lady in the backseat.

Sincerely,

Ian Jay
