SORRY I'M LATE. I GOT CAUGHT UP IN SOMETHING… ADVENTUROUS.

…No, but seriously, I solemnly swear I won't let another gigantic gap between updates happen again. These last two weeks I spent getting acclimatized to my new college environment. Now that I've been here for almost a month, I'm starting to get accustomed to my new schedule, and I'll probably be able to get back one TEO update a week. Forgive me, dear readers. Forgive me.

In other news, keep an eye on my Deviant Art page for more updates regarding Endzone and the Chimbley Sweep. I didn't think the C.S. would make it all the way to the semi-finals, but here we are. My opponent is well-known for his intricate Flash animations; I'm well known for a drawing style so messy and unprofessional that people actually laugh at it. (That, or I'm well-known for being a total Quentin Blake rip-off… which I never intended to be, but hey, go with what works, I guess.) Will I win? Probably not, but stay tuned anyways!

In other other (and non-comic-related) news, I got a care package from my mom today. There's a couple more boxes of cereal in it (including more Cap'n Crunch– score!) and my big Siberian earflap hat that I wear on colder days. She also sent me five more packages of ramen, to add to the nine still-unopened packages of ramen (and one half-full package, the result of one night's experimentation with eating raw noodles– blecch) that I already own. The best thing that came were the homemade chocolate chip cookies. Even though the trip through the mail had sort of crushed them up into little chunks, they still taste like home.

In conclusion…The Joel Plaskett Emergency's "Fashionable People". Though the song's subject is (I'm guessing) the standard "those damn celebrities and their wasteful, decadent ways!" rant, but, I dunno, the tune is catchy and the video is entertaining in a low-budget way. Check it out.

Sincerely,

Ian Jay
