some interesting things to point out here with this one.

as you can likely see the art continues to be done by hand and edited in ms paint, and scanned into public computer labs. Showing that in this day and age anyone can create a web comic even if they don't have a computer.

as to the page itself, the ripped sections was a ty at showing a sort of sequence of events in order. The borders of each section are made of rearraged sections of the same ripped inset peice I've used for most of the inset panels to date.

the letters are all arranged by hand from a typed letter I scanned into the computr a while back, which is actually getting tedious. I'm going to have to go back over the comic thus far and type it all on one page, because I keep coming upon words that are not in the existing document and thus must be constructed by hand.

and finally the information given by the character, points to a sort of historic message that we see a lot of throughout history. These kids today, I was never raised that way.

But in some senses I feel it's sort of true. It often seems to me that Honour with a capital H and a u in it, and hospitality to strangers and travelers are forgotten virtues.

so lares lament is in part my own, but it also starts to set up what is to come.
