There seemed to be a need for further conversation but a part of me felt that that conversation might be of no consequence to the story.

The other idea I had was to have a simple silence after the revelation of his exile to death for Lares.

In the end I decided to leave it to the imagination of the reader wether they are infact silent or they are having conversation as they ride the waters.

The inset here is meant to be a sort of binocular look down river toward their destination. But I cheated a bit to convey that idea.

The image itself really doesn't suggest that nessecarily but with the title of destination it does.
