I love this page for the slaves' reaction and for Tai-ra's response to it.
There are no absolutes. No one is good, no one is evil. You don't have to be human to do bad things. The other slaevs aren't "bad" but they aren't goin out of their way for him. And of course both Tai and Jaith think that's stupid. Go them.
