Page17 - a new lesson

I had a lot of things that I had to say for this page, but I seem to have forgotten them all. I had a little mini-emergency with FFC that kind messed things up.

If you're wondering why Tai-ra's sitting on the floor, it's because there's only a few cots in the slave barracks, so getting him onto one meant that she and Jaith slept on the floor. It's one of many things that I thought of that eventually got cut. Another was that originally, I was going to have Jaith donate his shirt to be ripped up for bandages, since there really wasn't enough left of Tren's shirt to do it. But I couldn't find a way to work those facts in smoothly, so they just got cut. Another thing that got cut was an entire sequence with Ralla where she made him do all these silly little chores all day to test his obediance before the whole "beating the beejeezus out of him" scene. That got cut cuz it seemed needlessly long and added little to the story. But that's why the script jumps suddenly from morning to night. I had to write in an excuse for that one.
Now I know how an editor feels.

On another note, I've gotten some kickass fanarts from people. I'ma try to set up a fanart site sometime this week so you guys can see them too. Seriously awesome stuff.
