Page 21 - a new truth

hoo..thanks for all the support and words of encouragement everypeoples! It really meant a lot! This week I intend to crackdown and catch up on all the comics I'm behind on. Sorry for slacking!
Anyhoo, this page. A lot lighter than the last page, which is a mistake - oops - but overall, I'm pretty happy with how it looks. I got a bunch of new (more expensive) pens and was experimenting with them a bit and I really like the results.
Story-wise, Nareth was not a saint as a master, as I pointed out earlier. He treated his slaves as something lower than humans just like everyone else. But at the same time, he WAS much better, much kinder than most slave owners…he just wasn't perfect. The point of this page is really just that Jaith and Tai acknowledge and appreciate his efforts, however small or unintentional they may have been. They have a great deal of respect for their master (or they did) and tend to realize how lucky they are and how much worse it could have been.
…bah…I suck at explaining things in words, but I hope that makes some sense.
This talking scene will last another two pages, then we move on to the next chapter and…MORE TALKING! *evil cackle* Thanks for bearing with me all! I know I'm having fun! There WILL be some action eventually, but character development is groovy, and dialogue is all I can write with any degree of success *cackle*
