Whew…now that we are safely past the cruddiness of last page I feel much better ^_^;
This page I like. I'm happy with the expressions, especially consider I have such a hard time drawing women. Panel 3 I like.

Now what's happening on this page. Well, first off, the interview starts mostly because Ralla is curious than because she's accusing Tren of anything. Bradley's never acctually accepted the offer, and she's wondering why that's changed. Generally it's easier to ask the slave than to try to get anything from her brother but she didn't count on Tren. His refusal to answer is really what turns this all against him.
As for Tren, this is him just being himself. Ralla would never see it because I'm not sure she ever saw him acting like himself before. He's always put on a flowery over-romantic front with her. The way I treat their relationship is as two people just going through the motions. They thought they cared, so they acted the way they thought a couple should act. I see people do this all the time and it angers me. Can it really be anything if you can't even act like yourself around the other person?
Only now, Tren is seeing more of Ralla's nature than he ever saw before, and so feels less inclined to "play it nice" around her anymore. The last time he was around her, he was still acting. Now, it just seems silly, and his stubborn, opinionated self shines through.
I love him for that, and I love writing it. He will be himself more often, though he still thinks he's "in love". But I'll get mroe into that later. It has little relevance here.
