Page 1 - preparations

With the exception of panel number the last, I'm pretty happy with how this one looks. A rare, rare thing.

This chapter's going to be fairly slow, unfortunately. Not that I necessarily think it will be boring (though it's also not going to be the most interesting stuff ever either) but it's going to have a LOT of talking, and there's going to be a lot of pages with a lot of text crammed into them (I'm saying "lot" a lot) because I hope to move things faster and make it more interesting by getting a little more accomplished on some of the pages than I generally would. The problem is that conversational talking isn't rushed or to the point, so I try to make it that but keep it from just being idle chatter. I mean, it DOES go straight to the point as I wrote it, but it's still conversational and therefore somewhat slow. There…I THINK I explained it right XD

There's so many cool things I have planned for this comic that I just can't wait to get to, but we're still in the set-up stages to a certain extent. So far I've established this world and some of its history, the main character, his situation, and some of the side-characters. This chapter goes into some of the side-characters a little bit more, but mostly it shows the beginings of the villain's plan set into motion. (The veeeeery beginings - I'm so slow) But anyway, I hope you all stick with me because eventually there's gonna be some really cool stuff happening. The villain's got some pretty big ambitions going on mwah ha ha haaa…

…man I suck at explaining things, I'm too wordy, I'm better with pictures. Just keep reading the comic and you'll see ;)

EDIT: also, there's not actually a space in between "In" and "humane" my computer's been spacing things oddly all by itself lately…SORRY!
