Page 20 - Welcoming

I mostly like this page. Troubles here and there, but what else is new?
I love how Jaith is expecting Tren to be all impressed, he's like bragging about their little room there. Still, although they're talking about different things in the last panel, I think it all works out okay. Jaith in panel two is my favorite part of this page. He very very quickly became my most expressive character. I suppose that's due to his personality, but I don't plan for or think up things for him, they just strike me the moment I sit down to draw (like him leaning over the railing in the one page). Regardless, I like it, it suits his outgoing nature well. :)

I meant to show an actual image of the room, but I wanted to show expressions more and couldn't figure out how to do both in the time I had. For those who were wondering, it has an isle down the center that's the width of the doorway and is as long as the cots. The cots are to either side. And they got a window in one wall! It occured to me as I was drawing this to wonder if Tren had actually seen the inside of the room before. I realized odds were very good that he hadn't. Though it wouldn't really effect anything either way, I found it interesting somehow…

This is the end of this chapter! In the next chapter, there will actually be some -gasp!- plot stuff…-wait, there's a plot? Two chapter in nareth's home, then the journey begins!
