…although I must say, the timing is very ironic and purely unintentional…

I have been looking forward to these pages for so long I cannot even begin to say! I think I'll save my enthusiasm for a bit , though. I would like to say, though, that damaging Jaith's eye like that was never really part of my plan…it just…happened. I wanted to show that he had been hurt more badly than any normal punishment. In order to give myself a sort of bluprint of what the wounds would be so that they stayed in the same places from panel to panel, I drew a quick sketch of him coming back after it happened all beaten and bloody and miserable…and…I just…added it…I don't know why. Weird how that happens…

I'm a little sad that this one didn't scan too well because it's some of my favorite inks thus far. None of them scan particularly well though…even at high DPI, it's better, but not great. If this comic were popular, I'd totally have contests and stuff and give away the original pages because the ones that haven't been destroyed by being on my floor just look soooo muich better in real life than scanned and I'd just like for people to see them…but it seems like a waste of time at this point…I must plug myself more…um…somehow…
