So, it's really funny to me (and I had this conversation with someone earlier this week, only I was far less coherent…I hate discussing things in person, I'm not smart enough to think of things on the fly XD) that generally people with eyepatches are a similar sort of character. If they're older, the have the "gruff, scarred veteran" character going, they have the wisdom and the experience. If they're younger, they tend to be hotshots who are badass in fights, but still know how to have fun.

Jaith is neither. XD

Of the boetheri characters I've shown, I think he would be the most useless in an actual fight. Not necessarily because he's weak - he's defenitely stronger than Tai, and he may be stronger than Tren, I tend to imagine them as close to the same - but because he doesn't have the mentality for it. He's so accustomed to blindly following orders, and staying out of people's way that I just don't think he'd have the presence of mind to step up in a fight and give it his all. He'd either run for cover, or stand there with the deer-in-the-headlights look.
So I find it hilarious that he now has an eyepatch. He's quite possibly the worst character for that look. And that's completely awesome to me.
After all, TM is all about how deceiving appearances can be ;)

So here we are! We're done with the intro! That wasn't too bad, now was it? …what?…6 chapters? HOW many pages? Are you kidding me?!
…um…heh…sorry, guess it ran a little long ^_^;
I thought TM would be a lot shorter than FFC…now I'm not so sure XD

Also, I think the last panel is the first time all four of my boetheri characters were in a panel together…what does that mean? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! XD I just noticed it while I was inking it and was like "huh! That's kinda cool!"

Anyway, thanks for reading! See you next week!
