Cover 8: "Spear Carriers"

Next of my symbolic character covers, this one is Bradley. This one is a bit different from the others, it's symbolic in a way, I guess, but it doesn't have symbolism the way the others do.
Regardless, I like it. I thought of this for him a while back and was like "screw the symbolism! I gotta do THAT!" XD

I'm fairly happy with the way it looks, especially compared to the LAST cover he made (Chapter…3, I think?). The inking particularly, though I'm so used to inking TM without closed lines that coloring his hair was kinda fun. XD
I kinda forget that Bradley has blonde hair sometimes. And I TOTALLY forgot that his eyes were green. XD
Came out really warm colored though…I didn't really intend that, but I use cool colors almost to the point of overusing them. There's no real significance to the color here, I just wanted to do something a bit different.

Oddly enough, though, Bradley doesn't feature heavily in this chapter. He just bookends it…but he doesn't really feature heavily in ANY chapter, so this one was as good as any. Mwah ha ha haa. The chapter itself actually centers most around Tai-ra, but there's another chapter I'd much rather have her lead, so this works well.

The chapter title "Spear Carriers" was suggested by my sister. The term is actually a theatrical one, referring to the bit or side characters. I loved the idea, since neither Bradley nor Tai-ra is really in the role of a "main character"….YET. Dun dun DUUUUN! But it fits in really awesome with the other chapter titles, many of which are pulled from lyrics of Broadway Shows. (I like musicals - sue me)

ANYWAY the chapter proper should hopefully start on time next week. *hope hope hope*
