I like Nareth in the first "panel". I think he must be explaining the rules of the game to them. For those who asked, initially, it was going to just be a form of tag that they played, but I decided to leave it in the dark. ^_^
As for Tai-ra, she was certainly hard to win over in the early days. Even accepting the boetheri's "place" she still wanted to be worth something. I really enjoyed writing this stuff with her, getting in her mind and exploring how someone could accept all these terrible things.

On the art side, while I'm proud of the writing, I don't think this page is as strong in design as many of the ones in this chapter. There's no clever use of the positive/negative space here, so it all feels a bit flat. Still, it achieves what I need it to.

I don't have much else to say, except, I don't think I ever linked the illustration I did of the boetheri scouts here so here you go! (What? I like showing off! XD) If you've been to my DA page recently though, you've probably seen it. FYI.
