You didn't think it'd be THAT easy, did you? Mwah ha ha haaa!
To be serious though, I promise you that the next time we see armor-face here, we will be finding out more about him. I feel a little bad for him though, he's gotta pretty frustrated at this point.

This is actually based on my own weather experiences. Mainly a microburst, think of it as a localized tornado, it'll be as damaging in spurts rather than all at once, but they can still be pretty bad. One of person in my area had their roof ripped off and another had a silo thrown into their home. That was what all the comments about how thick the air was on previous pages were about, that's how I experienced it, air so thick you could cut it. Then it hit with little warning, with a roar like a train, and was gone in the next moment…the crazy winds, anyway, it continued raining for hours. But yeah, that's that.

I'd never drawn a black and white rain scene before, so I was pretty much just experimenting as I went along. I'm fairly pleased with the results though. Ralla is clear because she was still in the carriage when it hit.

This is the final page of this chapter. Next week will be the next page of the tale of Grik-nor and the Rain Spirit (which is happily already drawn, so all I need to do is add the text) and then the chapter cover the week after.

Sorry if this page was a bit of a disappointment after the set-up, but I hope you liked it. Thanks for reading! And see you next week!
