She's got a one-track mind, that Tai-ra.

For those of you wondering if he would write messages to her with the sticks…well, he could try, but but I don't think it would work out very well.
…but it's all very interesting to me that people seemed to want that to happen because back before I'd fully decided what I was going to do with Bradley, I had envisioned them actually having a heart-to-heart in this scene. Partially because I felt these characters needed to interact with each other more and not just our main pro-and-an-tagonists. Of course, once I decided to mute him, that all became kinda moot. In this case, the communication barrier is pretty insurmountable…I mean, I guess they could play charades, but even if Bradley were the world's best artist (doubtful), drawing in mud isn't easy.
Anyway, it was just kinda funny to me that we were on the same wavelength.

Just to note for information's sake as well, Bradley is casting magic. We've seen some spells that require words to cast in the comic, but none of the smaller spells available to humans need them. It's only the bigger, more complicated spells that need spoken words. They've used the smaller spells quite a bit, so I doubt anyone wondered, but just to mention that in case.

Sorry the blacks aren't as black in this page, when I was trying to clean up the lines, I found I just had too much ink on this page, and if I turned it too dark, they'd start to bleed together. So it's a bit grayer than previous pages.
I'm pleased with it overall, though. It really feels dark.

That's a pretty lame fire though, Bradley. Oh well, I guess something is better than nothing, haha!
