I've left Ser-den more or less a mystery thus far in the comic. As I said once before, I fear I over-explain the rest of the cast, so it's nice to have a character you can actually decide for yourself what he's all about, even if it differs from my own perspective. But there's times when I feel like I should explain him. This page is a good example of that.
Ah well. haha!

Well, armored guy gave him a chance to leave. Let's see how this goes…

Some serious scale issues here. dangit. Ah well.
