Agneris would murder everyone if it would get him what he wants.

…fortunately for our main characters, their deaths would achieve him nothing, so he's not so interested in murdering any of them.

If you're wondering why he bluffed them instead of simply using the spell that he used on Nareth, it was simply to conserve resources. He actually expected Nareth to be who he claimed he was, so when that check failed, he didn't want to waste any more magic on testing the others. It was easier for him to get Tren to step forward himself.
Kinda funny that these guys have every reason to hate Dustan Guren and yet they seem to think fairly highly of him…what's up with that?

Not too pleased with the art on this one, but I guess it gets the job done…ah well.
